I have used Philip Marks a few times when my mother has moved between care homes with very little to move. This time I was moving my house. Once again I have been very pleased with the way things went. From the initial appointment with Philip , the delivery of cardboard boxes and the actual day of moving I have been impressed with the professional way this company performs. It was not easy for the four men who carried out the move. I had a lot of ‘stuff’ in the garage, lots of plants in pots as well as all the normal things one has. They carried out their work in a jovial manner, taking the stress out of what is a very stressful day. Highly recommended company.

On the day the weather was terrible on the drive down but Jonathan the driver did a great job and arrived on time. He even carried the heavy bed frame upstairs for me. We just want to say a huge thank you to Phillip, his son and the team for their efficient friendly service to make what could have been a stressful move as unstressful as possible. It started when Phillip arrived to pack up all our possessions. He packed everything with care and consideration, discussing what needed to go from each room and labelling in detail. The following day the team arrived and in a blink of an eye the boxes had gone. Care was taken with all the larger pieces, wrapping the seatee and armchair to protect it. Unloading was just as efficient, with furniture and boxes put in the right rooms and moving around if we changed our mind. I would highly recommend Phillip Marks Removals to anyone wanting to move - I would definitely use them again. They are professional, friendly and super efficient.

Amazing service from start to finish! Due diligence required as its been a while since i moved, three removals companies quoted and difference in pricing was staggering as were the individual services offered. After speaking to each company about the quote it was obvious Philip Marks were the company to chose. The survey, quote, subsequent phone calls and emails were always dealt with in a professional manner answered quickly and efficiently, all of my queries were dealt with promptly. Move day, it was a large move so was booked over two days, day one, we were extremely impressed by the professional and courteous team who worked tirelessly to ensure 90% was loaded on day one. Day two, the same professional attitude the house was cleared within a few hours and they made their way to the new house leaving us contact them when we had keys. Unload was quick, efficient and smooth. Even helped us to move a few things into the house we have purchased. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant and no damages, it was a truly refreshing experience. I really cannot imagine why you would choose another removals company, an absolutely outstanding service!
Excellent service provided by Philip Marks removals. The men arrived on time and were very professional and took great care when moving the items and wrapping sufficiently when needed. I was very impressed with how hard they worked at the leaving address and at the new address. They put the boxes/furniture in the correct rooms. This company were fantastic for our move. The quote was competitive and they kept their word when refunding the cost of the boxes which saved us money. The movers were on time and did the job efficiently and with care. They worked hard until it was all done and went above and beyond to help with every aspect of our move. For our move we, like others shopped around for quotations but our quote from Philip Marks covered everything that we needed for a great price. Over two days we were packed up and moved to our new home, day one we had two gentlemen come by to pack up all of our belongings apart from needed toiletries, they were very thorough and made sure our things were stored safely. We had a laugh or two along the way. Day two consisted of the move where they dismantled our big items like bed and filled their vehicle and moved it to our new home where they put the bed back together again, they even buy back the boxes that they used for the move. I have nothing but good things to say about Philip Marks Removals and would recommend them and their services every time.
3 lovely lads arrived, they were funny, helpful incredibly patient & worked so hard taking great care with everything, there was bit of hold up the other end but soon they were unloading as cheerful as at the start of the day! We were dreading this move, but we needn't have worried. Everything went so smoothly. Our move from Headcorn to Weymouth, Dorset, meant that the job needed two days. Owain and Adam loaded the lorry up in the morning, and great care was taken with everything. They then had a long journey due to Friday traffic down to Weymouth. But they were at the house, first thing in the morning to unload. They were professional to the end. A big thanks to Philip and Sally for the organising the whole process, it really couldn't have been better.

Boxes were delivered on time and arranging the move out was straightforward. My stuff went into a storage space, which Sally/Phil arranged without any troubles. Needed a short notice long distance removal for our household on a bank holiday weekend. Philip Marks went above and beyond when our van was too small and accommodated the extra.
