We offer long term and short term secure storage to meet your requirements and ensure the safety of your possessions. We've been storing for customers throughout Kent since 2002. Please get in touch if you have any questions about storing your belongings.

We use traditional removals warehouse containers to store your belongings in Kent. They are an industry standard 5' by 7' by 7.5' tall - this is equivalent to a 35 square foot room in a self store centre. We think we're better value than self store, especially over the medium and long term. You can rent these for £14/week all inclusive. This includes indemnity insurance for goods in storage.

Ashford Kent Relocation Guide

Ashford Kent - æscet

Moving to Ashford and don’t know the area? Hopefully this guide will help. The town takes it's name from an Anglo-Saxon translation meaning "ford by a clump of ash trees". The motto of Ashford borough council is "With Stronger Faith" taken from a poem by the 17th-century poet Richard Lovelace  who came from the borough. Their website covers parking, rubbish collection and much more. For larger items of waste Green Box Recycling are nearby. The borough also includes the picturesque town of Tenterden.

Ashford Schools

Kent County Council is the place to get information about local schools, Kent independent education advice is also a valuable resource. ran an article in January 2018 listing Ofsted reports for local primary schools. Ashford boasts two Grammar schools which compare favourably amongst the town’s secondary schools as shown in the government’s school comparison website.

Ashford Property

Rightmove,  report that average house prices were £271,905  in 2019 which was 2% down on the previous year. After talking to various Ashford Removals customers we think that  rises are due so long as Great Britain moves away from political uncertainty. Local estate agents, Gould Harrison, Stevens and also Ben Siggins will be a greater authority on this, if they disagree please let us know!

Ashford Transport Links

Ashford has excellent transport links, from Ashford International railway station (which is adjacent to the town's mainline station) there is a high speed link (38 minutes) to St.Pancras and also Brussels & Paris. Also 4 trains an hour to London Charing Cross & Victoria via Maidstone & Bromley South or via Tonbridge & Sevenoaks. In the opposite direction with good connections to Ramsgate, Canterbury, Dover & Hastings. Ashford is linked well via the M20 to the motorway network however in the event of problems on the Channel Crossing Operation Stack closes the motorway coastbound to hold freight transport, causing huge inconvenience for locals. Ashford is only 12 miles from Eurotunnel at Folkestone, 24 Miles from the Port of Dover, 41 Miles from the M25 Dartford Crossing Toll and almost 60 Miles from Central London.
